Dr. Suresh Dahal

Dr. Suresh Dahal is a dedicated Public Health Physician with an MD in Community Medicine from Kathmandu University. He currently serves as the Clinical Coordinator at Shankarapur Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu. With over a decade of clinical and academic experience, he has worked in Emergency, ICU, and Internal Medicine departments, combining strong clinical expertise with a systems-based public health approach. Dr. Dahal has a keen interest in preventive medicine, health education, epidemiology, and community-based health interventions. His postgraduate research focused on improving knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding diabetic foot care through structured health education at the community level. He has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and has actively participated in international health promotion initiatives in collaboration with Mahidol University and the World Health Organization South-East Asia Regional Office. In addition to clinical leadership, Dr. Dahal has experience in teaching, research methodology, and data analysis. He is a life member of the Nepal Medical Association(NMA) and the Nepalese Society of Community Medicine (NESCOM), and serves as an Executive Committee Member of NESCOM (2025). He remains committed to strengthening healthcare delivery through evidence-based practice, capacity building, and community engagement.
